Who is responsible

The data controller is the publisher of Souffle Libre, who can be reached at contact@soufflelibre.com. This policy is written for readers in the United Kingdom and follows the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

We only collect what you send us yourself through the contact form, namely your email address and your message. We use them solely to reply to you. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us. We never sell your data.

Who else handles it

Contact form messages are passed to a spreadsheet hosted by Google, acting as our processor. The site itself is hosted by Cloudflare. Where these providers process data outside the UK, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

The draw timer and search

The draw timer and the search box run entirely in your browser. No timing and no search is stored or sent to us.

Cookies

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), non-essential cookies need your consent. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page is displayed.

How long we keep it

Contact form data is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your message, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@soufflelibre.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
